Another Milestone Reached at the CatCuddles Cat Clinic
We’ve been marking more milestones at the newly opened Catcuddles Cat Clinic.
10 year old Groucho returned to the clinic this week for a dental. Groucho had already made history as one of our first ever neuters at our cat-only clinic, and he now holds the honour of being our first dental patient.
Groucho has his foster-to-adopt home lined up, (our covid-19 adapted version of our standard adoption process) but as brave boy Groucho needed an extensive dental, this affectionate little purr-engine is first recuperating under the care of his wonderful fosterers.
While he’s been waiting for his forever home, chatterbox Groucho has been busy putting his best paw forward in foster life. He’s very people-orientated, very much loving the company of his fosterers. He’s also shown himself to be a bookworm (well, he enjoys using books as pillows ) and he loves the smell of the outside. Whenever a window is carefully opened and secured, he’ll raise a twitchy nose into the air and do a little kitty smile!
This gentle giant also appears to recognise his own name. He’ll perk his ears up whenever you say it, even if you’re not speaking directly to him. Another discovery is that he loves it when you sit or lay at his level (probably because it provides more surface area for him to target with loving head-butts).
His new family are being tasked with the challenge; to offer this wonderful boy the love and stability he so very much deserves, in a home he can call his forever.
