Tractor
13 year old tortie girl Tractor is an incredibly sweet, friendly girl. She is looking for her forever home, with people to call her own who will love and cherish her as much as she has been thus far.
Tractor is gentle people loving cat who loves a good lap or to be up high in a cat tree looking outside. If there is a radiator on then Tractor will sit right near it. Her purr is loud and when she is enjoying the stroking she dribbles. She also loves a good ear rub and around her neck. Tractor enjoys playing, especially with balls or similar by batting them around. Another favourite is the Meowt banana or dried catnip. Tractor prefers horizontal cardboard scratch pads as she as has no interest in the sisal scratching posts. She is really curious cat and loves a good nose in cupboards. Her favourite treats include freeze dried chicken pieces. As with most cats Tractor is not a fan of vacuum cleaners, which will send her scurrying, in fact cleaning really isn’t her favourite as she’ll also disappear when the clothes drying rack comes out too.
Tractor does not enjoy living with other cats so is looking for a home where she is the only pet. She is best suited to an adult-only home or one with older children.
Tractor is happy to be an indoor-only kitty but could also join a home with a quiet back garden for her to potter around in when the mood suits. Anyone adopting an indoor cat from us needs to be committed to creating a stimulating and enriching indoor environment and ensuring it is safe, i.e. cat proofing any windows that will be opened, and fully cat proofing a balcony, terrace or garden if there is one. When catproofing this means ensuring it is fully enclosed, not permitting access is not usually sufficient. If their family are using the balcony, the cat should also be able to and whilst a cat will not jump if there is nowhere to go, accidents can and do happen so this is essential to do to ensure the safety of your adopted cat. The adoptions team can offer further advice on this.
