We Are Overwhelmed by the Response to Our Appeal for Eggy, a Stray Cat Found in Horrific Condition

We are overwhelmed by the response to our recent appeal to raise funds for Eggy, the desperately unwell cat found in Plumstead, and to cover the charity's large outstanding vet bill.

We raised around 90% of the funds needed in a very short time frame, and received some amazingly generous donations. Since we began with such a large target, this far exceeded our expectations, and we're now happy to cease any further appeals for donations.

It's so disheartening to encounter a cat as unwell as Eggy, especially at this time of year, but the generosity and kindness of those who donated has helped to restore some faith in humanity for our volunteers.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who made a contribution, be it big or small, and to all those who have enabled us to save lives in 2018 through donating, volunteering, adopting, and caring. Eggy has made some small progress and still has a long way to go, but he's on the road to recovery - thanks to people like you!
