Celebrating the adoption of Áxia

In October 2023, a kitten no more than 3 months old was found with injured. She had a visible, broken bone and the skin around it was rotting. As a result of this there was no choice but for that kitten to have her right forelimb amputated.

Last month that same kitten arrived at Catcuddles, and tomorrow Áxia will begin a new chapter when she moves to her adoptive home.

Áxia, a shy 10 month old calico, has already captured the heart of her adopter, who describes her as

a little sweetheart - clearly a bit scared and finding her place.
— Áxia's adopter

At Catcuddles, we often rescue stray cats who are unsure of our intentions. Over time, they learn to trust, and that trust marks a beautiful moment of strengthening the feline-human bond. We are immensely grateful to those able to open their hearts and homes to cats like Áxia.

Wishing Áxia and her adopter a lifetime of slow blinks and happy memories together.
