Fundraising Target Met - Thank You!

After a heart warmingly generous response to our recent appeal, we are thrilled to announce that we have met our fundraising target. We now have sufficient funds to cover the cost of veterinary treatment for the six cats whose owner was sadly hospitalised, leaving them alone in a flat for several days in very poor health.

We’ll never cease to be amazed at the kindness of our supporters, which is unwavering even in times of crisis such as this, when many are struggling to make ends meet. Thank you, truly, for every penny donated.

We can now focus on restoring Jinx, Chiquita, Skye, Sam, Jessie & Daisy to health, free of fears over their daunting veterinary costs. Though there is a long road ahead, particularly in regards to Skye, Jinx and Sam, who are presenting with some worrying symptoms, we’re hopeful that we can diagnose, treat and manage any underlying health concerns, so that all are soon adoptable.

All six are lovely cats, understandably shy and chastened by the stress and upheaval of the past week, but gentle and friendly nonetheless. Since they’ve been living as indoor cats, we will once again be seeking indoor homes for them, in pairs in some cases. Keep an eye on our adoptions page if you are thinking of welcoming a new family member into your home in the next few weeks; any household would be made a warmer and more welcoming place by the presence of one (or two!) of these lovely cats.
