Adoption appeal for Truffle: in the words of his fosterers
The job of a CatCuddles fosterer is to care for a cat, or cats (sometimes a pair or a litter) temporarily in their home, until a permanent loving home can be found. Our fosterers are special individuals who are willing to dedicate their time to being the bridge to a cat’s forever home.
So who better to tell you about Truffle than his caring fosterers.

You may have read about Truffle, our little FIP survivor, who arrived at Catcuddles fifteen months ago with his seven litter mates. The seven are now all adopted.
Truffle was diagnosed with dry FIP in July 2022. Many months of daily medication later…. for which he was a cooperative patient…. he is a bright, energetic and curious young cat. His weight seems to have stabilised at just under 4kg and he feels healthily plump and has a gloriously shiny coat. He is not a foodie and may never be one.
Truffle enjoys human company, loves cuddles and hinas learned that a belly rub is not an invitation to a fight! He recognises his own little routines of human interaction, play and exploration and is allowed out of his room under supervision. He himself has supervised a number of telephone calls and Zoom meetings!
We think the world of him but he needs a younger family, ideally one without resident outdoors-going cats. He would add that a safe garden or even a catio or balcony would be terrific! He is thrilled when when some unfortunate fly or moth finds its way into his room and needs to be chased to its death.
We would be happy to see him go to a loving family of his own but he will leave a lasting impression on our hearts.
