Meet Toffee: A True Tortoiseshell Treasure!
Hello, I’m Toffee! At just around a year old, I’ve already been through quite a journey. I was rescued as an abandoned pet while caring for my kittens, but now it’s my turn to find a forever home where I can relax, decompress, and truly shine.
Why You’ll Love Me:
Gentle and Sweet: While I might seem a bit reserved at first, it doesn’t take long for me to warm up. Once we’re friends, I’ll happily come to you for fuss and affection.
Relaxed, But Playful: For my age, I’m surprisingly chilled - most of the time! That said, if I find a toy that catches my eye, I’ll show off my fun, energetic side.
Independent, But Loving: I’m content spending time on my own, but I’ll always come looking for you when I’m ready for some company.
A Mealtime Mate: I never miss the chance to be your bestie when food’s involved. Sharing snacks? Don’t mind if I do!
Unique Quirks: I have a soft spot for my favourite silver vine sticks (and I’m not keen on sharing them!) and I love exploring new napping spots. Cat beds? I’m all about them.
What I Need:
For now I’d like to be the only cat in your home so I can soak up all the love and attention - after all, I deserve a little pampering! A calm, stable environment would suit me perfectly as I settle into my new life and grow into the confident, happy cat I was always meant to be.
I’m also looking for an indoor-only home. Providing a safe, enriching space for me is essential and the adoptions team is happy to offer advice on creating the perfect indoor haven for me to allow me to climb, scratch, play and have hideouts and resting spots. Quality time and playtime are also essentials along with a cosy perch for window views.
Any open windows should be securely cat-proofed, and balconies or terraces fully enclosed to prevent accidents. Cats love to explore, and ensuring my safety will let me enjoy these spaces with you worry-free!
While cats like me won’t intentionally jump, accidents can happen, so proper precautions are a must.
My Fresh Start:
Having been such a devoted mum to my kittens, it’s time for me to be cared for and cherished in return. I’m healthy, laid-back, and ready to spend my days by your side or curled up in my favourite sunny spot.
